Trending: This Year’s “It Colors”

Has anyone else ever wondered how the color scheme of clothing for the year was determined?  Have you ever wondered why a particular color clothing seemed to be showing up in all your favorite retailers?  If you have asked yourself this question, I can help give a TINY bit of insight on what colors you will be seeing everywhere this year!

If you had asked me two years ago what a, “Pantone” color was I would have looked at you with a perplexed look on my face.  Although I still can’t explain the details of the science behind them, I can tell you that each year there is a, “Pantone Color,” and it is the hot upcoming color trend of that year.

This year there were two colors chosen: Rose Quartz (a soft blush pink) & Serenity (a pale soft blue).  ” Rose Quartz and Serenity demonstrate an inherent balance between a warmer embracing rose tone and the cooler tranquil blue, reflecting connection and wellness as well as a soothing sense of order and peace.” (taken from http://www.pantone.com/color-of-the-year-2016) Both of these tones are cool and calming and I’m in love!
