Galentine’s Day Brunch & Some Local Favorites You Must Checkout

This past Sunday I had the opportunity to attend an amazing Galentine’s Day Brunch at Frill Clothing hosted by with the beautiful amazing ladies of the  Raleigh Blog Society.  We had a morning full of laughter, fun and of course amazing food! This was my very first Galentine’s Brunch and it truly was “Pinterest Perfect!” In preparation for the event, each blogger had something they were in charge of bringing.  I was in charge of macaroons!

I hunted long and hard for fresh macaroons in the Triangle Area and stumbled upon an authentic French bakery in Cary, NC: Le Farm Bakery.  Le Farm has a wide array of freshly made breads, pastries, tarts, cakes and a cafe for breakfast, lunch and dinner with all fresh ingredients.  They are definitely on my list to go for brunch! They were so nice and easy and even mailed me the macaroons I ordered right to my house for only $6 (you can’t beat convenience!)  Our theme was all pink so the macaroons we had were all pink which were a raspberry flavor with fresh raspberry inside!

 

This was only my second event with the Raleigh Blog Society girls, but it feels as though I have known them all through keeping up with them on social media (funny how that happens, right 🙂 ! It was so nice to finally meet these amazing ladies and bloggers as well as put faces with names!  After getting a little bubbly, we all sat down to a fun brunch full of amazing pastries, sandwiches and sweets! After lunch we mingled and got a chance to really talk one on one! When it was time to go, we were given the cutest Galentine’s gift bag that had been HAND PAINTED by the amazingly talented Betty Edwards of Write Nice by Betty. Chris took all of these amazing shots and he has done two blog photo shoots of mine and I have always been so thrilled with the final product and how quick he is!

On this fun occasion, I chose to wear a fun Milly Flutter Sleeve dress  that seemed to have a fun whimsical feel but was also sexy and flirty.  I am obsessed with this color red, but this dress has sold out in almost every size so I linked it in blush here as well!
