April Showers Bring May Flowers, isn’t that what they say?!? I can only hope that means lots and lots of flowers this year 🙂 I am THAT PERSON who usually always has an umbrella with me at all times, I mean when you spend 20 minutes on your hair, there is nothing worse that a chance of rain ruining it 😉  My husband and sister always laugh at me when they hear my umbrella rolling around in the back seat even on the sunniest of days!  I wanted to share with you all my newest and greatest umbrella obsession from Totes!

This past weekend we had a series of short, strong showers and so I had all my rain gear riding around in the car with me as I went from house to house doing prom makeup! In the Spring my absolute favorite lightweight jacket is the Fillmore Anorak.  This jacket has the most beautiful gold buttons and a cinched waist to give you a shape and we all need a rain coat that does that!  This coat does run large, so I would size down.  I wore my new favorite lace up top by Bella Dahl  this fabric is so lightweight and breathable, perfect to take you into Summer with a pair of shorts!  I also wore my rainy day staple, my Hunter boots .  I have been asked multiple times if these boots are worth the price tag and the answer is HANDS DOWN YES! These boots are great for ALL Seasons! I wear them in the winter with socks and they are insulated and keep my feet warm.  My denim are my go to J Brand Exposure Capri’s and they are currently 30% OFF! That is a steal for these perfectly ripped pants.

The main shop stopper of this outfit was the adorable high –heel bubble umbrella from Totes!  I have been wanting a bubble umbrella for a while now, I mean aren’t they just the cutest?!? This one from Totes with all the high-heels was a no-brainer for me!

I bet some of you are wondering who this adorable little sidekick is?!?! Let me introduce you to my crazy, fun and adorable “nephew,” Jake!  Jake loves long walks, jumping , fetching, playing and ICE CREAM!  He was so fun to shoot with, but let me tell you… Getting a one year old chocolate lab to sit and look serious for even a second is quite the task! We had to bribe him with quite a few treats (not pictured my little brother Jonathan who was the treat-holder), so “Thank You,” Jake for being so sweet and I will be sure to bring you a Dairy Queen puppy cup the next time I come over 😉
