Cold Shoulder Trending with Lilly Pulitzer

It’s Monday and I am dreaming about the weekend already… Typical of me 😉  As many of you know, I am a little bit of a Lilly Pulitzer fan, maybe it’s because I am from the South or the fact that I am drawn to anything with COLOR, but Lilly is one of my absolute favorite brands.  My husband constantly jokes with me about all the color and patterns, like most men when he walks in a Lilly store he thinks it all looks the same, but I quickly ask him if he is crazy and point out the differences (he still doesn’t understand 😉 ).

I recently went into my local favorite Palm Avenue in Raleigh, NC in the Cameron Village shopping center and my attention was quickly drawn to this beautiful flowy dress.  Until recently, I had no clue what the term, “cold-shoulder” meant, but now that  I realize I have been describing this style of clothing wrong for years, I know that I LOVE cold-shoulder.  All that means is the shoulder are cut-out of either the dress or top and this trend is making a HUGE appearance this Spring and Summer 2016!

Let me introduce you to the Lilly Pulitzer Alanna dress that as I went to link on the Lilly Website realized that it is OUT OF STOCK, but NO WORRIES… I found it HERE in ALL sizes!  This dress is so comfortable, beautiful and just the right amount of flare.  It has the pretties tassel detailing around the neck and the flare at the bottom is UNMATCHED!  I will be wearing this dress with sandals, wedges and probably barefoot on the beach! I paired my dress with the my Jeffrey Cambell Rodillo Hi Wedge that has the prettiest detailing.  This wedge keeps selling out, but there are a few sizes still available.  I had to pair this green and blue dress with my favorite Blue Mirror Ray Ban Aviators.  This bag is by brand Hammitt LA! Hammitt has the most amazing luxury leather goods my purse is the eggnog color. This bag is so fun because of the asymmetrical zipper and the fun button detailing.  This is a GREAT gift for graduation! I hope you all enjoyed this easy, breezy summer look as much as I do!
