Memorial Day Party Ready – It’s a POM POM Party!

Memorial Day is right around the corner and I wanted to do a quick post on some outfit inspiration.  This year my family and I are spending Memorial Day weekend at our Lake House, just spending quality together as a family.  This is my absolute most favorite thing to do! I love the beach too, but there is something about the lake and just sleeping in, eating lots and lots of great food cooked on the grill and sharing laughs with the ones you love! I have found over the years, it’s not about what you are doing but who you are with! What are your plans for holiday?!?!

I also wanted to stop and take a minute to “Thank” everyone who has served our amazing country! The United States is the Land of the Free and Home of the Brave! It is because of selfless men and women who have given their life for their country that we get the opportunity to enjoy the FREEDOMS that we do on a daily basis.  So no matter where you are going or what you are doing, take a second to remember those amazing men and women who have made this day possible!

In the midst of planning my weekend out I stumbled upon this fun Piper Java Dress tasseled red, white and blue dress that looks just like a PARTY!  This dress is the perfect length and these tassels are such a fun detail! This dress also has a touch of embroidery, which makes this dress just perfection!! My sandals are so soft and comfortable and they are the ‘Greyson’ Taupe Suede Rebecca Minkoff Sandals.  Tie up sandals can get a little fussy when you walk, but these have the softest straps and they will stay up once you tie them! I could literally walk in these shoes for miles! I am still living in my Jord Wood Rose Gold watch it is the perfect color for all of my fun Spring and Summer outfits!

My fun pineapple bag and pineapple pitcher are both made by Shiraleigh.  Shiraleigh has some of the prettiest accessories and you can check them out locally at one of my great friend, Rachel Pusateri’s shop in Cameron Village called, The Local Squirrel.  This shop carries every accessory you can imagine from beach towels (pictured here), to jewelry and handbags all the way to my sister Anna’s artwork: Anna Cate.  I will have a future post soon with her artwork and how you can purchase and view it, but in the mean time head on over to The Local Squirrel for some amazing finds!
