It’s Friyay and I couldn’t be more excited because this weekend is my 7 year wedding anniversary (well it’a actually Monday, but we are celebrating early 🙂 ) I know some of you may be thinking… “7 years?!?!” and yes I got married at 20 years old hahaha I married the only man I ever dated and I haven’t looked back since! I guess the saying “You know when you know…” That was me and my husband, Brian! I just wanted to share a little fun fact about my life before I moved on to these hot-to-trot boots that totally have me swooning!

So, I first heard about Tecova boots from my one my best friends and fashionistas, Jill ( I am pushing her to start a blog so if she does, I will let you all know 😉 ).  I went to their website and immediately fell in love with “The Jamie” boot (pictured here) and I knew I had to have them for my sister’s bachelorette trip that is coming up in a few weeks in NASHVILLE,TN! I know it’s only the tourists who wear boots going to Nashville, but I want to embrace it hahahah These boots literally graced my front door step two nights ago and when I opened the box at 10pm I knew they had to be photographed and blogged immediately! I rushed to my photo texted my photographer, Chris Nieto of Nieto Photography and told him we had to meet to get things beauties up as soon as possible! When I opened the box the smell of leather was so strong and wonderful, I wanted to bottle that moment and I really sat there and just smelled them for a second, no judgement here right?!?! The leather was so soft and supple, like they had already been worn, but in amazing condition! I am a size 10 and ordered the size 10 and they fit like a glove! Sometimes boots run a little small for me, but these are VERY true to size and so well crafted! The color I chose was ‘Desert Calf” for the summer and I am so glad I did, they seriously go with EVERYTHING!! There are only two styles of the Tecova boots and the shorter ones are also super cute for spring and they are the “The Penny”.  Both boots are wonderful and you can’t go wrong with either!

Now on to the perfect teal, off the shoulder pom pom dress that could not get any cuter! This dress drapes over the shoulders in such a classy and elegant way!
