Today, “Hollydays” is OFFICIALLY ONE!!! I can’t believe that this day has finally come! I remember just like yesterday the idea of a blog looming over me and creating a sense of anxiety and fear of starting something that 1) I did not even understand 2) Fear of what others would say or think and 3) Trusting myself enough to do something on my own.  I can say that all three things are STILL things I deal with in my mind and often hold me back CONTINUOUSLY, however, I can say without a doubt that blogging is so WORTH IT BECAUSE OF YOU!

I have loved more than anything else getting to talk to each of you, meet you, meet new friends from across the world who embraced me with open arms and HANDS DOWN YOUR SUPPORT IS THE BEST PART ABOUT BLOGGING!! I am truly HONORED and STRENGTHENED by each and every one of YOU! YOU make what I do more fun and YOUR encouragement and love every day helps to give me the confidence I need to continue on this journey! THANK YOU! I do not for ONE SECOND take ANY credit for this blog or any of the success it may have, I owe it all to each of YOU and to the AMAZING COMPANIES who thought enough about this southern, small town girl to give her a second glance! GOD has and will be the Center of my life and focus and He gives me the strength each and every day to get out of bed and continue following my PASSION! I wanted to take today’s post just to say one BIG, “THANK YOU!” I don’t want to make this post about anything other than that! I wish there was some way I could mention each of you by name, but just know that I MEAN, YOU!! I also want to say an ENORMOUS, “Thank You” to all my friends and family who have become photographers against their will and who have been my cheerleaders along the way; “THANK YOU & I’M SORRY (hahaha) at the same time!”  My family and friends are always there and willing to take that, “one more shot ;)” You have all been troopers and really been there for me!  I am not sure what the future holds for me or for, “Hollydays,” but I am so excited to continue on this journey with you ALL!

I want THIS YEAR to be about things you all are interested in, so please shoot me a message or email! It may take me a few days to respond because it is just me behind all of this, but I will do my best to get back to each of you! I sometimes fall short, but you are all so important and I want to answer/help in any way I can! After all, that is what this blog is ALL about! My last little piece of advice to any and all of you is CHASE YOUR DREAMS and BELIEVE IN YOURSELF!! I think about this quote often, “BE FEARLESS IN THE PURSUIT OF WHAT SETS YOUR SOUL ON FIRE!”  YOU are all AMAZING and UNIQUE and YOU CAN DO or BE ANYTHING YOU SET YOU MIND TO BE!

I hope each of you has a wonderful Labor Day weekend and know I am so thankful for each of YOU! You all are so BEAUTIFULLY AND WONDERFULLY made in Christ’s Image and no matter where you are or what you are doing HE is there with you each and every day to be your ROCK, SALVATION & SUPPORT!
