Happy Monday ya’ll! Who else was struggling last night trying to stay awake?!?! This time change always gets me for the first week or so! The plus side was, I was up at 5am this morning for my pilates class a little easier 🙂 I hope you all had a wonderful weekend of some much needed rest and relaxation! This past weekend I did makeup for one of my high school friends weddings and enjoyed it so much! Does anyone else have those friends you go maybe even a year at the time and don’t see, but when you do reunite you just pick right back up where you left off! I am so fortunate to have some amazing friends I was able to share my childhood with and that bond will never go away and I am so grateful for that! Today’s look is one I am so in love with! This is a dress that is perfect for Fall and a transitional piece with over the knee boots for cooler weather and booties now while we are still experiencing some warmer temps! This dress is the Lattice Dress by Yumi Kim and it has the prettiest lace-up neckline! I have been wearing the lace-up trend OUT, but I truly love it because its just that added detail that makes a top a little edgy! I purchased this dress for my trip to Dallas a few weeks ago because it was lightweight and flowy! The older I get the more I love an easy dress that is not too clingy! I also thought this jacket was adorable paired with a suede moto jacket like this one by Blank NYC that I got back during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! This jacket SOLD OUT in this color for over a month, but is finally back in every size in TIME FOR CHRISTMAS!! This piece also comes in other colors and ALL of them are beautiful and perfect for Fall and Winter!
My boots are (you guessed it 😉 ) the Schutz ‘Barnis’ Booties that I have been wearing so much! Hey, when you find a shoe that fits you wear it ALL the time, am I right?!?! I spent a little more on these booties, but I knew I would get my use out of them and so for staples in my wardrobe, I can justify it if it makes sense over time! I am that girl that buys the nice jeans and pairs it with a more affordable blouse and some fun jewelry! Fashion is all about taking the staple basics in your wardrobe and making them fun and versatile! I have paired these booties with dresses, jeans and leggings alike and they look different and play a changing role for each look! My fringe tactic bag is one by Botkier and I have worn it practically every day since I got it! This bag is a great present for a loved one for the holidays! My mom and sister both want it and that is usually my test for a great gift if both of them want/like it!
