Writing this post I am sitting here listening to wedding music trying to help my sister plan her wedding processional playlist! Her wedding is DECEMBER 17th and as the matron of honor I am trying to help her come up with the best playlist, EVER!!! This has nothing to do with today’s post, but here’s some of my picks: Canon in D (for her entrance), Unchained Melody, A Thousand Years, At Last by Etta James (this was my ring tone for a year lol), All of Me by John Legend, Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You by Frankie Valli, Best of My Love by Emotions and I have a few more! I wish music was the same as it was years ago with all the instruments, it truly was amazing! I am currently listening to “Shout” by the Isley Brothers and that mixed with my coffee is making me ready to DANCE!! Ok, now that we are officially off topic, let’s get to today’s post which is all about Holiday dressing!! I have shared and linked one of my favorite looks above which is a velvet blazer, corduroy pants, silk camisole and heel! This look can take you from a day at the office to a party downtown, which is why I love this look to much because it is so versatile! I have also created an entire Shop Tab on the blog under, “Party Ready Looks!”
Is it just me or does December always have some surprise get together or last minute party that pops up and leaves you with the dreaded question, “What am I going to wear?!?!?” This inevitably happens to me every year so I wanted to keep you all prepared by shopping early for those, “oops” moments! I have searched so many of my favorite websites and tried to pull together various looks including some more casual pieces all the way to the full ball gown to help you all with whatever your parties entail! So without further ado check out the “Hollyday” looks in the shoppable boutique below and let me know your thoughts!
