Home is Where the Heart Is; This Statement is so true for me! No matter where I travel to, I am always ready to come back home! Today I wanted to share a small corner of my newly updated office space! I will be sharing more of the renovation when it is complete, but today’s post is how I made this space feel “homey” with blush and gold accessories! When my husband and I moved into our home there was a ladies office already there with lots of build in cabinetry which was not my personal taste.  The color of the cabinets were almost a white blush and the walls were almost a watermelon color.  After a couple years not using the space, I decided it was time to update! The built in cabinets and desk were nice and to conserve it didn’t make sense to pull them out, so instead I decided to change the wall color to a clean white tone with a hint of pink to blend.  I am a huge fan of blush and gold and I decided that would become my new color palette!

Nordstrom has a HUGE sale right after Christmas and this year they incorporated HOME! I was so excited when I stumbled upon these pillows! My sofa was one that we already had and I just moved it into the space and decided to add my ‘touch’ with pillows (a way more affordable option 😉 ).  The square pillows are the Fae Accent Pillow, the Mira Accent Pillow, & furry one is the Sumptuos Faux Fur Pillow .  The faux fur pillow was sold out last night in the blush so I have also linked a similar style in the same color and it is the Cuddle Up Faux Fur Pillow.  I LOVE faux fur and I think it softens a look and makes it look so cozy and inviting!  I accessorized the sofa with a white faux fur throw I have had, but here is a very similar one the Cuddle Up Faux Fur Throw.

My gold accessories began with my glass table, which I got at Ethan Allen about 4 years ago, but I have also linked a few similar options here which are the Grafton Glass Coffee Table (love the lines on this one), the Sofia Glass Table and the Larsen Coffee Table.  My candy dish is so fun and the gold flake is so beautiful, it is the Vietri Rufolo Glass Gold Bowl.  I loved this dish so much I got three of them and “sprinkled” them throughout the house filled of CHOCOLATES! I also put one of my favorite smelling candles on my coffee table and it is the, ‘Bourbon Vanille,’ scented Voluspa candle.  These candles are pricier, but as many of you know a good candle burns longer, the smell is deeper and the glass container becomes an accessory! I burn candles EVERY day at my desk; it makes it feel more cozy and there is no better scent to me than VANILLA!   I also love gold words or figurines to fill shelf space and the ‘love’ you see pictured is no longer available (sigh), but it is available in words darling, sunshine, cheers and hello.

Now on to coffee table books! Ok, so who else buys books for their cover art?!??!? I may be the only one, but I wanted Fashion related books that were also cute!
