Spotlight on Raleigh & The Dartmouth North Hills Apartment Complex In Midtown

Happy SUPER BOWL SUNDAY, ya’ll! I rarely do a Sunday post, but I figured what better time to share a local spot in Raleigh where I wish I was lounging up having a get together with lots of food and friends to watch the big game! I am not a huge football fan (sorry to say, but true 🙁 ) However, the Super Bowl is different because I enjoy the ads, the energy and Half-Time Show! I just got home from Atlanta yesterday and as you can imagine I now know The Falcons are in the game! Who do you all want to win?!?!?!?

Today, I am spotlighting THE DARTMOUTH North Hills a new apartment complex in the middle of Raleigh’s growing Midtown.  I love to share special places and boutiques in my home state for any of you who may be looking or possibly moving to the area! This past week I got the GRAND TOUR of this amazing facility and died! My jaw literally hit the floor the minute I walked in! The entire facility had clean lines, abstract designs and was a tenants dream! I felt like I walked into Restoration Hardware mixed with West Elm accents… my personal favorite looks all in one place and immediately fell in love! Today’s blog post is going to take you on a quick and by no means full journey through this amazing venue, because if I shared EVERYTHING I swooned over in this place the post would never end hahah! So here we go! Let’s start with my room for the day!

Ok, do I even need to say anything about this space?! It can totally speak for itself 🙂 After I picked my jaw up off the floor I took a moment to take in this space and I was in awe!  This was my, “room for the day,” at The Dartmouth this past week and I did not want to leave! The decor, the coziness, the walk-in closet and the KITCHEN!! This particular space was the perfect size for an individual or a couple! There was a large kitchen, bedroom and a walk-in closet (maybe my favorite part 😉 ) There was a breakfast nook where I could envision myself sitting every morning with my cup (or cups) or coffee looking out over North Hills getting ready for my day! There was a very large sofa with plenty of room to host friends for dinner or an event like the Super Bowl! I wanted to sit in this space all day, seriously! Dartmouth offers one bedroom, two bedroom and three bedroom apartments so there is a space for any need or family! Although I wanted to end my journey here with a great book or Netflix I had to move on to see what else the complex had to offer… So lets head to the common area!

As if there is a reason to want to leave your beautiful room you have the option of coming to this insanely gorgeous, “common area” with pool table, swings (yes swings), televisions and large sofas for everyone! This series of rooms was so spacious and inviting! I am now on the hunt for my own personal hanging swing as you can imagine it was incredible! Can you imagine hanging in this space today playing pool, eating cheese dips and listening to the game with all of your friends?! Yeah, I can and it would be incredible! All of the colors and textures mixed to create a trendy dream spot! I could not get over all of the lighting especially the piece over the pool table; it gave me some serious design inspiration for my own home! This large area then opens up to the “BEST” part… THE POOL & Lounge Area! I am totally coming back here in the Spring to “test out” the pool for you guys.. STAY TUNED (hehehe).  Let’s head over!

 

Ok, Ok, so I may have been drawn to the Fire Pit this February instead of the pool, but my goodness how awesome is this?!?!? The pool is incredible with large floats and the seating around the pool including the large plush chairs… I need one of these! This part of the complex was like a mini-vacay.  I do not feel like I am in the city in the middle of Midtown in a large wonderful shopping center/business area, it is truly an escape! Although it was 50 degrees the day we shot out here, I could already imagine those hot 80 degree days taking a dip lounging by the pool with a great book/magazine! There was also a very nice indoor workout area for all of you who may be wondering 😉 The Dartmouth is it’s own community with no need to leave!

 The Dartmouth thought of EVERYTHING when they created this complex; trendy, spacious, inviting and full-service!  If you are looking for the trending spot in Raleigh’s Midtown, definitely check them out!
