Fall Makeup Must Haves

Happy Thursday ya’ll! This morning I just woke up and felt like I needed to share my Fall beauty must haves! I have had numerous snapchats, Instagram DMs and texts on what my current favorite lipsticks, primers, eyeshadows etc. so today I am linking everything that is CURRENTLY in my makeup bag! I have officially made the change over to the warm buttery fall tones so I wanted to dish on my ‘DAILY FALL FACE’ routine! So HERE we go! I. Moisturizers & Primer

When I begin my beauty routine I begin with a good ‘primed’ canvas! I ALWAYS begin with moisturizer when I get out of the shower!

Daily moisturizer: Yonka Excellence Code Creme

I LOVE this moisturizer for multiple reasons! My skin has never been brighter and more supple! It is great YEAR ROUND! I love that the dispense of the product is a ‘portioned’ pump that covers your entire face and the product never is exposed to air and bacteria because you press the top down to dispense and it pushes the product out.  This is an expensive product but lasts exactly 3 months if you use it once a day so I splurge! You only get one set of skin so take care of it!

Eye Serum: Trish McEvoy Beauty Booster Eye Serum – this eye serum is BOMB!! I first discovered this eye serum about a year ago on a trip to NYC! My sister, mom and I had a long morning of flying and one too many lattes and decided to go shopping! We ended up in Saks on Fifth Avenue and one of the ladies told us about this INCREDIBLE eye serum! I was skeptical because it was so expensive! She put it on me and my eyes immediately drank up the formula and my fine lines disappeared! I HAD to have it! Since then I have not found anything I like better!

PRIMER: YSL Touche Eclat Blur Primer

This primer is like BUTTER! I have used this primer for about 2 years now and haven’t veered the entire time! This primer is also pricey but it lasts for me (I use DAILY) about 6 months so it’s worth it! It only takes one pump for the entire face and softens and blurs my pores and my makeup doesn’t crease after of hours!

Nighttime Moisturizer: Strivectin Advanced Retinol Intensive Night Moisturizer

This nighttime formula has retinol for quick cell turnover at night and I wake up dewy after using! This moisturizer really works! I wear makeup every day, so at night it is time to repair my skin and this moisturizer is IT!

II. Foundation & Concealer

Foundation: Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation – my tried and true! I love this formula and have used it now for probably 5 years! I am color Medium Neutral typically and I apply with a damp beauty blender! This is a full coverage foundation and lasts ALL DAY!

Concealer: Tarte Shape Tape – OBSESSED! This product is seriously my ‘ride or die!’ I use this DAILY no matter if I am doing a ‘full face’ or just light makeup! This concealer I apply pre-foundation under my eyes to conceal and after foundation under my eyes to highlight! I buff out with a damp beauty blender each time!

Powder: MAC Mineralize Skinfinish – this powder is lightweight, natural satin finish perfect for setting or smoothing out foundation! I used to use the studio fix powder over my foundation and it would cake up and was way too full coverage for my skin.  This mineralize powder is too good and is also good if you want a simple light coverage for the day by itself! I use color Medium Tan right now, but will soon have to go down a tone for Fall.

III. EYEBROWS (yes, they get their own section hahaha)

Ok, before I list my products who else feels like eyebrows are the new IT trend! I for one am like, are mine too thin, too thick, too unkept, not enough arch, too thin… brows have literally made me anxious the past few months!

I have been contemplating microblading, but I have decided against it because brows are an accessory that are ever changing and I have learned to be content with just filling them in 🙂 If you have had microblading let me know your thoughts!

Brow Pencil: Anastasia Brow Definer – this pencil is THE BEST! I love that the product is dispensed by a triangular tip, which allows me to get the perfect shape! The triangular design helps be to create that little extra ‘peak’ and arch on my brows which I can’t grow 🙁 I have very blond hair, but I love the color ‘medium’ brown for my brows so they stand out, but not too much!

Brow Gel: Anastasia Clear Brow Gel – I always set my brown pencil and brows because it keeps the product in place as well as helps keep my hair ‘tame’ and going the same direction! I like to comb up at the beginning of the brow so those hairs look thicker!

IV: Eyeshadows

Ahhh, this is my FAVORITE SECTION! I love warm tones no matter what completion you have for Fall! The warm tones just brighten up a face and can give such a glow that I LOVE! So…. I have two eye palettes that I am using right now and you NEED in your collection!

1. Urban Decay HEAT palette– This warm tone palette is EVERYTHING! I literally use this everyday! It is by far my favorite NAKED palette yet from Urban Decay, which is saying  A LOT! They somehow got every Fall favorite in one palette! The ONLY thing I wish was in this palette that is not, is a bright lighter gold shimmer for my lid.  That is where my second favorite Fall palette come in….
2. Anastasia Modern Renaissance Palette – This palette has beautiful tones similar to the HEAT palette but a few more berry and rose tones! I like the Heat palette better for the neutral crease shades that add depth, but the modern renaissance has the prettiest color ‘PRIMAVERA’ that I use damp on my lid OFTEN! This gold fleck shadow is almost worth the purchase of this palette just for the color! I also love ‘Red Ochre’ and ‘Venetian Red’ in my crease from this palette!

V. Mascara

Dior Disorshow Iconic Overcurl Mascara – This mascara is my GO-TO! It is one of the only mascaras I have ever used that both lengthen and separate my lashes! My eyelashes have never looked naturally fuller! I use the BLACK!

VI. Cheeks

Contour: Trish McEvoy Golden Glamour Bronzer – I use a powder bronzer currently and have been using this color for about a year! I love the tone and the golden bronze does really well for me! I apply this to contour my cheeks and also apply a light dusting to add color to my skin

Blush: MAC Warm Soul : – I have too many blush tones, so to say I only use one is not accurate, however, 9 times out of 10 my choice is ‘Warm Soul!’  This color is a mid-tone beige with a pear finish and it’s a neutral color! This blush is lightweight and gives just the right amount of coverage and color!

Highlighter: Becca Cosmetics; Champagne Pop– I know what you’re thinking… I need a new highlighter hahahah No lie, my VERY FIRST blog post 2 years ago was Champagne Pop when it was brand new! I still love it! I apply this with a slightly damp brush and I can’t achieve a ‘GLOW’ that is warm and rich for Fall like this with any other product that I have tried!

Highlighter: Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Beauty Light Wand –  I have not tried this, its BRAND NEW but some of my favorite bloggers are RAVING about this so it’s ON MY LIST!  All the looks I have seen with this stick are INCREDIBLE so GRAB IT NOW WHILE IT’S HOT! Also, let me know your thoughts!

VII. Setting Spray

MAC Prep + Prime Spray – I love this setting spray pre-makeup and after makeup for setting! This spray is so refreshing and makes your makeup more dewy!

VIII. Brushes

Foundation, concealer ‘brush‘: BEAUTY BLENDER: I use a damp beauty blender to blend out my foundation and my concealer, to me there is no better brush of applicator! Also, I only like the actual Beauty Blender, there are lots of products that look similar, but none have matched the original!

POWDER BRUSH: Real Techniques Large Brush: I LOVE this powder brush, its FLUFFY an full and I’m OBSESSED!

Eye Shadow Blending Duo – Real Techniques Eyeshadow Brushes – Use this duo for my blending! Love this combo!

Eye Shadow Lid Brush – Large Eyeshadow Brush – I like to have a separate brush for my lid because often I dampen it to apply a shimmer shadow so it stands out more!

Blush Brush – Real Techniques Flawless Base Set – I use the buffing brush from this set as my blush brush, the other brushes are also great!

IX. Fall Everyday Lipsticks – I just did a post recently with my Fall favorite lip shades HERE!! So today I wanted to share my EVERYDAY Fall lip colors:

1. MAC Liptensity Smoked Almond – One of my dear friends and youtube makeup sensation Alexandria Garza was wearing this lip color last year at the Rewardstyle party at NYFW and I died over the beautiful neutral warm color! I have been using this color ever since and its super creamy
2. MAC ‘Faux’ – This color is just my absolute go-to everyday! It’s a soft pink neutral and I wear it when I go with a bolder eye or just practically EVERY DAY!
3. MAC ‘Whirl’ Lipstick – I love this brown tone for an everyday lip with a little extra flair when I do a neutral eye!
4. MAC ‘Whirl’ Lipliner – I love this lipliner with almost everything! I always use lipliner since I want a ‘fuller’ appearing pout 🙂
5. Buxom ‘Anna’ Lipgloss – this is my favorite lipgloss brand and color! I use this lipgloss with practically every color I have, its neutral and I love the shimmer!
