Happy Monday ya’ll! Today I wanted to share about the sweetest baby shower my family and friends threw me two weekends ago! This was baby Brayden’s first shower and it couldn’t have been sweeter! He is already so loved!
I wanted to share a few of my favorite things from the shower in case you all were interested in them for your own or you may be throwing a shower yourself! The first thing were the adorable cookies from a local Raleigh bakery, Southern Sugar Bakery! Any time I need a special treat that is memorable, I go to them! They make cookies that are ALMOST too pretty to eat! I knew a couple of basic designs I wanted, but I let them take the reigns because they are way better at that than me and they were PERFECT! We had 4 designs: a monogrammed bib, a stork with a blue blankie, a onesie and an adorable baby rattle!
I mean, HOW CUTE?!?! Also, they were individually wrapped so they made the perfect ‘gift’ for our guests to take home and have later!
An amazing company called Custom Botanique reached out to me on Instagram and they make the most gorgeous letters or signage for your showers or baby’s room! This adorable ‘B’ is actually preserved moss and beautiful faux white and blue flowers! I got the large size, but it also comes in a smaller size! The large has mounting holes on the back so you can hang it in baby’s room later! Custom Botanique and I want to GIVEAWAY one of their amazing letter to one of YOU!!!

I also wanted to share the adorable hand painted sign (pictured above) from one of my good friends, Micaela Camp. Micaela created the most beautiful sign for baby Brayden that I am actually going to keep in his room for him! She does such an amazing job for ANY EVENT (weddings showers, parties, etc) and you can find her on Instagram @micaela_mo or you can send her an email to [email protected] to inquiry about your next event! I love that it can be saved and reused in any space!
As far as food we had more of a ‘lite-bites’ fare because the shower was from 10am-12noon! We had sausage balls, donut holes (blueberry and glazed), fresh cut fruit, fruit dips, cookies, cheese straws and more!
I wanted to take a second to thank everyone who came out and especially my Mom, sister, sister-in-laws, niece, grandmother, mother in law, aunties, bestie Jill Pollock, Melissa High and Allison High for all of their hard work in showering baby Brayden and me; we are truly BLESSED beyond measure! Also, thank you to everyone who made the long drive to come see us, we are so GRATEFUL and can not wait for this little man to be here!
