Happy Friday and start to Mother’s Day weekend loves! Today I wanted to wish ALL the mothers-to-be, mother’s, mother’s at heart and empowering women a HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY! To me a mother can be any woman who has inspired you and helped you be the BEST VERSION of yourselves! This year Mother’s Day is EXTRA sentimental to me since I am expecting my own son in just a few short weeks! I have been waiting for this day practically my entire life and the fact that it is coming at lightening fast speed is still so surreal to me! I can’t thank all of you enough for being so supportive in my journey to become a Mother, you guys are seriously the BEST! Not a day goes by that someone doesn’t leave an encouraging comment or DM about motherhood and I can’t wait to experience it FULLY for myself!
I also want to say a HUGE ‘Thank you’ to my own Mother who up until now I knew how much she did, but to truly know what it is like to carry a baby for 9 months and love this little being so much and he’s not even here is indescribable and she has done that 4 times; you’re a ROCKSTAR Mom! I hope ALL of you amazing women out there will have an incredible Mother’s Day weekend spent with family and friends!
Also, if you haven’t gotten something for your Mom, at least call her and tell her how much she means to you and you appreciate her, that will mean the world! Sometimes I feel like I spend more time looking for the perfect gift than I do actually letting my Mom know how much she means to me and that she is appreciated so much, that will last a lot longer than any gift, but a gift is ALWAYS thoughtful 🙂
