Happy Wednesday ya’ll! So as many of you know, I am officially almost 38 weeks pregnant (Friday) so I am getting prepped and ready for baby boy Brayden to come AT ANY TIME! At my last doctor’s visit a week ago I was 1cm dilated and 50% effaced so I will find out tomorrow if there has been any progression, but knowing the process is starting is making me super excited and a little anxious as this is our first time! Before little man arrives I wanted to share a must asked for blog post regarding, what is in my hospital bag! I have had so many requests for this blog post and want to preface this by saying, this is no way is a comprehensive list for everyone, this is just what friends have helped me compile and what is in my bag! I am going to have a boutique of the exact items I am taking at the bottom of this post and I am going to make a tab on the blog as well for those of you who don’t have time to check out today’s full post, but may want to browse so you can click HERE to see those items as well! What’s in ‘Mommy’s Bag’:
Birth Plan (if you have this)
I plan on wearing the hospital gown during labor, but if you have something you want to wear that is approved, bring that!
Phone Charger (and phone, but you probably won’t forget that 🙂 )
Nursing Tank(s)
Nursing Bra(s)
Nursing Pads
Nipple Cream
All toiletries – shampoo, conditioner, razor, shaving cream, body wash, tooth brush, toothpaste, deodorant, MAKEUP ;), hair ties, lotion
Hair dryer
Straightener
Curling Iron
Hair Brush
Postpartum underwear that you don’t mind ruining or throwing away
Bathrobe
Socks/Slippers
Shower Flip Flops
Robe Set with nightie – (found THIS ONE with a baby blanket too and LOVE!)
Loungewear – these pants will CHANGE YOUR LIFE, I have 3 pair already in less than a month!
Coming Home Outfit (loose and comfy)
Nursing Pillow – I’m taking my Boppy Pillow for nursing and for family to hold baby
Camera (make sure it’s charged 😉 )
Bath Towel(s)- the hospital ones are TINY and thin I have heard
Heavy Flow Pads – I love these ALWAYS ones if you are not a pad girl and would like a recommendation
Snacks for husband during labor

Swaddle for photos (if you want, I got this one!)

Pacifiers – apparently they don’t give those out at the hospital anymore
CAR SEAT – obsessed with our Nuna Pipa Lite it only weighs 5lbs!
