Hey ya’ll! With my due date literally in one week ( June 14th) I wanted to get up a blog post on my little one’s nursery! I will hopefully have better photos of the space after he arrives, but I have had so many questions on my color scheme and items from my Instastory so I wanted to share with you all here on the blog for easy reference to items! My theme for the nursery was soft neutral tones so that if/when we are blessed with a second baby he/she can also stay in this space and we can give Brayden his own room that’s more ‘boy’ themed!
This room was ‘my’ project! I asked my husband if I could design/decorate and he let me have full reign over the space and the theme, so thanks, babe! I feel so good in this room that I literally go sit in the recliner some days and stare at the crib and all little Brayden’s stuffed animals and dream about him and what he will be like! I even sat in the recliner and read him the ‘I Love You, Mom’ book that my sister in law gave to me! It has been the biggest blessing in my life to have this little human growing inside of me and I am so beyond grateful and thankful to God for allowing me to be a mother!
Ok, so back to the nursery… Primarily every large item we got was from Pottery Barn Kids. I went to a few places and I really loved everything at Restoration Hardware baby as well, but it was just a little pricey for all that we wanted to do so Pottery Barn was really our go-to for most everything! I thought the easiest way to link would be to itemize each piece below so that you could click on the item to see/purchase, so if you have ANY questions please let me know! Also, the drapes had to be custom made, I did have a few questions on those and I can’t actually link to them because we had odd shaped windows so I am terrible sorry about that!
