Hey guys! Today’s blog post is one I have been asked countless times to talk about and that is outfits perfect for NURSING! This month is National Breastfeeding Awareness Month so I have partnered with Motherhood Maternity to share breastfeeding essentials! When I had Brayden in June, I always knew I wanted to nurse; what I did not know was my wardrobe was NOT ready for it! I always thought just have lots of strapless dress and I didn’t even consider bras so much! With that said, I have completely changed the way I look at clothing and finding pieces perfect for nursing have been a struggle until now! Today I wanted to share a couple dresses I have been loving as well as some of my top undergarments I don’t leave unwashed or packed!
The first dress I wanted to share was THIS adorable easy cotton dress perfect for the heat and the front flap lifts for easy nursing underneath. Comfy dresses and clothing are a MUST when you have a newborn and something that is easily washable (like this dress) doesn’t hurt either 🙂 I also DIED over this GORGEOUS pull down one-shoulder maxi that is SUMMER PERFECT! I am a maxi girl no matter what the season and the pattern on this one was PERFECT and it’s currently ON SALE for $35 so it’s a NO BRAINER for sure! A couple other pieces that I love and really want to try are THIS pulldown flutter sleeve dress and THIS pullover tie dress.
Undergarments for nursing are ESSENTIAL!!!! My absolute hands down NUMBER 1 bra is this $19 seamless strapless bra! I have 4 of these so far and I am totally getting 4 more! Keeping the laundry done has gotten a little harder and with leakage, you can’t have too many of these! I also have 3 of these seamless clip down bras and equally love these! I love the seamless bras for daily wear because they are so soft and comfy! When I am going out to meetings or doctors appointments I typically wear THIS Natori strapless bra and I also want to try THIS Natori bra! Natori has always been a favorite brand of mine, but now that I am looking for nursing bras this brand is my favorite!
As far as sleepwear I LOVE THIS clip down lace trim gown. I find that I care a little more about my night time wear since it sometimes turns into daytime wear with a robe 🙂 I practically live in gowns and robes these days so I want to be appropriate in case we have visitors!
I also wanted to link to the Motherhood Maternity hospital bag checklist page HERE for those of you who are expecting, I found this REALLY helpful!
I hope you guys enjoyed this post as much as I did sharing! I also hope that it was helpful and will make nursing easier for you! Motherhood Maternity and I want you guys to enj
