Happy Monday babes and HALLOWEEN WEEK! I am pretty excited for Wednesday taking my little man to trick-or-treat for the first time! Sorry for the slow blog posts recently, newborn life is still a little hectic! I can’t believe Brayden is 20 weeks this Wednesday, time really does fly by when you have an infant! I will be sharing a blog post soon on what his favorite toys/items are since he is finally getting big enough to use so many of them! I also think it will be fun just to share a 4 1/2 or 5 month update since he has changed and grown so much (he’s 17lbs!!!). Today though, I wanted to share one of my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE looks I have styled since he was born!
I will say, as a new mom I look at clothing COMPLETELY different than I did before! I am all about COTTON and jeans now! I was definitely more of a dress girl and still think I will be in the Spring/Summer, but right now a GREAT pair of jeans and cool tee are my go-to since changing clothes 2-3 times a day for reasons other an Instagram (aka spit up and drool) feels like my job! SIDENOTE: Do babies sense when you are wearing something nice and are trying to get out the door looking put together? I think mine does because every single time he decides he wants to spit-up or have #2 hahaha.
When I saw this Faux Fur Jacket it HAD to be mine! I am a total fan of faux fur coats/jackets/liners pretty much faux fur everything in the fall/winter and the color and richness of this one meant it was a MUST HAVE! This is the BLANKNYC faux fur jacket in milk chocolate and its UNDER $100! This jacket is such a steal for the look and feel! After getting it in I would have still purchased/kept it if it was $150- $200, it’s THAT nice and warm! I got a medium since I am so tall for the arm length and I knew I may pair it with sweaters so it fit perfect!
My tee is so fun!! I am actually not a Pink Floyd groupie, but any graphic tee just gives your look a little edge and they are so easy and fun to throw on so Pink Floyd it is 🙂 I am wearing a small in this tee and its so comfy!
My jeans are a new brand (to me) GRLFRND Denim! I have been wanting to try a pair of these beauties for a long time now and after much debate decided to order a pair and I’m OBSESSED! These Karolina High-Rise Skinny jeans when I first put them on were a little stiff in comparison to my extra stretchy denim, but the distressing was just TOO GOOD so I kept wearing them and the 3rd time I wore them they really felt amazing! I also realized the tag on them said they get better with time and to give them a chance and now I’m hooked! They really fit my body perfect and I can bend and do things with my son! These jeans do fit true to size and I wear a size 27 and they are perfect!
My booties are soon comfy and I have shared them with quite a few of my Instagram looks thus far this Fall because they are so comfy! They are the Sam Edelman Walden bootie. These boots are the PERFECT height to wear all day! I can wear them running errands or out and about and still feel chic and cute! My mom actually just got these as well! I always think it’s hard to find an attractive shorter heeled bootie and the luggage color of these goes with everything and warms up any look with the rich tone! These booties also run TTS, I wear a 10 and the 10 fits perfect!
