Happy Wednesday!! Today I wanted to do a quick 10 month Brayden update! So many of you are asking for our current must haves and so I wanted to get this post up for you all! Honestly, I don’t know how many of you love reading about baby stuff so I try not to OVERDO it on the blog, but when so many of you start DMing me about it, I decided to share 🙂
Brayden officially turned 10 months old last Saturday the 13th and boy did that time go by fast! It has been a whirlwind of a change in so many amazing ways as well as challenging in ways as well! I LOVE being a mom more than ANYTHING in the world, but having a child is a lot of work (fun, but hard!) I love being able to stay at home with him, but its hard sometime to go from work to home in my head and balance Brayden pulling up on everything and finally crawling around everywhere! I feel like I now understand why kids learn the word ‘no’ first 🙂 Brayden learned to crawl two weeks ago (like REALLY crawl) and since then it’s like he grows leaps and bounds each day! Each day is a new experience and I feel like walking is RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER! He is so aware of everything, he still takes 2 naps a day! His first nap early in the morning is his LONG nap (roughly 2 hours) and his afternoon nap is somewhere from 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours! I have learned even if I am tired, those are my power hours to WORK and get things done!
Here are some items Brayden currently uses or loves:
Safety 1st Walker – he has been in this since almost Christmas and he scoots EVERYWHERE and loves it! I think it has helped strengthen his legs!
Como Tomo bottles – THESE ARE THE BEST BOTTLES EVER! I will never use another brand as long as our second child takes to them! Love that they can heat quickly! Brayden still has 3-4 bottles per day of 6 oz. of formula (we use Similac Alimentum)
Avent Paci’s – Brayden loves the shape of these paci’s and has used them since Day 2 probably and won’t really suck on any other type!
Motorola Wireless Monitor – We love Motorola’s wireless monitors and of course use them daily (actually right now writing this post 🙂 )
Nuna Rava Car Seat – WE JUST ORDERED this car seat for Brayden and can’t wait for it to come in! I can not PRAISE the NUNA PIPA LITE carseat enough so I knew we wanted Nuna for his ‘big boy’ car seat!
Disney Baby Crawling Mickey – this was just a fun toy my mom got Brayden and he loved to watch and follow!
Graco Pack – N – Play – We have used this so much! Brayden is actually still currently sleeping in this at night by my bed (I know, I know.. he needs to be in his own room and crib 🙂 )
Fisher Price Laugh & Learn 3 in 1 interactive smart car – this little car is his obsession! It was the only car his legs could touch the ground for a long time and it was very stable!
Step 2 Whisper Ride – We LOVE this! I can’t find his particular model online, but THIS IS IT! We love this in addiction to the Cozy Coupe (which he also loves) because he is out in the open! I push him in the neighborhood in this when we aren’t going too far and he loves to turn the wheel!
Little Tikes Cozy Coupe – Who else had these as kids?!?!? I mean NOSTALGIC!!! We HAD to have one and some of my favorite pictures of Brayden are of him in this little car!
V Tech Stroll and Discover Activity Walker – My mom gave us this and Brayden loved sitting and playing with the front of it and then learning to pull up from behind! He hasn’t quite mastered walking with it and holding on. but it is helping him learn to pull up and the interactive front part is so fun!
Fisher Price Farm Animal Puzzle – this is an interactive puzzle that speaks when you remove the animals and Brayden goes for this toy EVERY SINGLE DAY! My husband and I joke about it even that he loves it the most! He loves to pull the pieces out of the puzzle and chew on them 🙂 HERE is a link to a similar one since I just saw that it was almost sold out!
Fisher Price Laugh & Learn Smart Stage Puppy (HERE is the GIRL version) – My mom seriously finds the BEST toys! She did have 4 children so I consider her a veteran source and this little puppy is one my niece who is 2 is still in LOVE with and Brayden smiles every single time we turn it on! This would be a great Easter basket addition for your little one!
Elegant Baby Bath Toys – THESE little boat squishy toys are Brayden’s favorite! We have THESE farm animal ones as well! HERE is a precious little girl version!
Elephant Bath Wrap Towel- I Love wrapping Brayden in a hooded towel after the bath to help dry his hair, but also keep him warm (he HATES getting out and cries almost every single time) I like to snuggle him right after in this towel!
Native Shoes – BEST boy or girl shoes! All my friends children, my niece and Brayden wear these for the warmer temps! They allow their feet to breath, come in so many colors and you can wash them! Brayden wears a size 4!
BellaTunno Bibs & Bowls – I don’t leave home without this silicone bibs! I have a cheaper version bib like these and they do not catch food like these! BUY THESE!! Brayden also likes to reach into the pocket and eat food he has dropped in it and it keeps him busy so I can have at least a few bites to eat 🙂 I also love the bowls because they suction VERY TIGHT so he can’t pick it up and throw it!! HERE ARE THE GIRL BIB VERSIONS & GIRL BOWL VERSIONS!!
