MAC Soar Lip liner | Urban Decay Stark Naked Lip color | Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lip gloss
Happy Wednesday friends!! I get asked often about my top favorite lipsticks so today I wanted to share 5 of my ALL time tried and true favorites! I know that lip color is SUPER PERSONAL! Fun Fact: I have done wedding, prom and MORE makeup for friends since I was 18 and the MAJOR thing everyone is picky about is lip color! I always make sure to have the range of shades that will fit anyone’s personal taste!
So today I am going to share my TOP 5 favorite transitional and Fall shades starting with the neutrals to the deep tones! The best part about all of these shades is I can use ONE lip liner (also my favorite color ever) and the liner is MAC SOAR! IF you buy one thing from this post, let it be the SOAR lip liner! It doesn’t smudge, stays put and is the perfect blend of a pinky brown that blends with almost any shade of lipstick! Also, all of these combinations look phenomenal with the BUXOM shade ‘ANNA’ gloss over top! If you are a gloss girl ( 9 times out of 10 when I did makeup girls were and so am I : ) then this is a HOLY GRAIL gloss that doesn’t get sticky and tacky and is a neutral just to add some ‘pop’ to your pout! I also recently got the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk lip gloss and it’s amazing! It is a gloss with no shimmer so if you are a neutral gal and don’t want shimmer or just looking for a gloss to wear ALONE it’s this one!

MAC ‘Faux’ – My #1 Lipstick for 2 years running and literally put on 9 out of 10 brides year around is the color – MAC ‘Faux’ – this is the perfect brown pink that compliments every skin tone and I NEVER run out! Fun story: this is the color lipstick that the MAC girl helped my sister find for her wedding almost 3 years ago and we both ALWAYS now have this perfect shade! If you want to only buy one lipstick from today’s post and you are new to trying lipsticks THIS ONE IS FOR YOU!
Urban Decay ‘Stark Naked’ – this is the perfect NEUTRAL! Urban Decay formulas are so buttery and moisturizing and every time I wear this color I get asked about it! It looks phenomenal with the SOAR lip liner! It is definitely a more true neutral with less pink and more brown tones!
Kat Von D Everlasting Lip Stain in shade ‘Lolita’ – this liquid lipstick was all the rage a few years ago and could NOT STAY IN STOCK! They even created another version of the lipstain because it was so popular and for GOOD REASON! This is one of the only lip stains that does not dry my lips out insanely! This color STAYS and is great for a LONGWEAR and its the perfect chestnut rose color! If you are wanted a shade that’s deeper and a little more warm, but you don’t want to go full on DARK this is your shade!
Urban Decay Vice Lipstick color Manic – this is a CREAMY wine tone that I love!! It really makes any eye color POP! What I love about it is it reads red, but with a true wine and more brown undertone so it’s not IN YOUR FACE RED! I love a good RED for the holidays, but in the Fall I want a warm burgundy style shade that goes with mustards, olives and browns but isn’t RED and this is IT! I love it!
MAC REBEL– THIS is the BEST vibrant color ever! The first time I was ever introduced to this shade I was in Las Vegas and my sister got her makeup done at a MAC where a Hollywood stylist was doing makeup and she used this color on my sister and I mean WHOA!!! I kid you not when I say every woman in my family ran and bought this color! If you have a Fall wedding or party or just want a fun vibrant lip that is sure to breed compliments its this one!
