Happy Thursday loves! Who can believe that Valentine’s is basically here?!?! This year my husband and I are going to Las Vegas for the weekend, but before you get tooooo jealous it’s for his work 😉 HOWEVER, we will have afternoons and nights to roam the strip and experience one of our favorite places during this holiday weekend! What are your plans?!?
I have always loved the idea of Valentine’s Day, I think it was because as I kid I loved picking out Valentine’s cards and candy for my classmates! In high school we got to send carnation flowers to our friends and receive them from boys in our class who may have had a crush on us and they would be delivered randomly throughout the day to you in front of your whole class! It was such a fun day and my group of friends and I always sent one to each other as our Galentine’s! I remember feeling so cool walking out of school with my handful of flowers (typically from my girlfriends, siblings and parents, but it’s fun to feel thought about and special!) Gosh, those were fun times!
