Haute on a Dime

“It’s not about brand, it’s about STYLE!”

Fashion doesn’t have to be EXPENSIVE!  Style is a form of expression; it is a way to say who you are without having to speak.  Style is the way you carry yourself, it is in the Confidence that you have.  Style is not something that can be purchased!  Style is all about owning who you are and being secure in that! How boring would life be if everyone were the SAME?!?!  I love admiring other women’s style and fashion sense and sometimes I am challenged to step out of my own personal comfort zone and try something NEW!

With that said, who has been to Target recently?!?! Oh.My.Goodness… Their Fall line of clothing is on point! Both this skirt and plaid shirt are both from Target for a total price point under $50 (yayayayayayayaya).  When I saw this Xhilartaion faux suede skirt I had to have it!! It has the most adorable cut-outs on the bottom, which I think make this skirt so darling!  Tan suede skirts are all the rage this season and they have been featured on countless websites and various fashion bloggers.

As in one of my most recent posts, PLAID is a MUST HAVE for FALL!  This Merona Plaid Shirt is absolutely PERFECT with a skirt, pair of jeans or leggings!  I love the colors of this particular plaid and I can’t wait to pair it with a faux fur vest, denim & booties when it gets a little cooler!

These shoes!  Ok, so if you are a Nordstrom shopper, they were on the Anniversary sale and I debated them for almost a month.  I waiting (unfortunately) until the sale was over and recently walked in the store and HAD to have them!  They are so adorable, the price point is great and they are super stylish!  These ‘Olsen’ flats, made by Halogen, remind me of high-end designer Valentino (at a small fraction of the cost).  They come in multiple colors, but black is my go-to for FALL, although I will probably be getting them in the nude soon!  Don’t wait until they are SOLD OUT, you will be kicking yourself!

I have NEVER been one for HATS… I’ll admit the reason is: I don’t want to mess my hair up and have that notorious “HAT HAIR,” but I have recently made an exception!! I fell in love with this, Olive Green Hinge ‘Panama’ Hat, the minute I saw it in Nordstrom.  There’s just something I love about green and the FALL, maybe it’s because I have green eyes, but I just LOVE it!  I have already worn this hat numerous times and I know it’s going to be a great piece for FALL and Winter when the weather gets chilly!

I’ll leave you with this.. EMBRACE your INDIVIDUALITY; there is no one like YOU! YOU are BEAUTIFUL and DON’T BE AFRAID to BE YOURSELF and FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS!
