Life is too short to have boring hair!

A year ago, if you had asked me what a, “blow-out,” was I would have looked at you with a very confused look on my face (because I thought it may be something inappropriate hahahaha).  Now, when the word blow-out is mentioned I simply say, “YES,” without any hesitation!  So, if you have never heard of a Blow-Out, I am about to change your life!  A blow-out is simply everything you love about going to the salon: relaxation, shampoo and style of your choice without the cut, color and high price tag!

 

Blow-outs have been an absolute lifesaver for me!  I honestly don’t know what I would do without my absolute favorite blow dry bar, Blown Away Raleigh, in North Hills, NC.  The owners Jenny or Julie will greet you at the front door with a smile, glass of wine/champagne and your day will immediately brighten!  I go to Blown Away a minimum of twice a month especially during wedding season!  I can only imagine this is how a celebrity feels getting pampered and the price tag of $35 for any style makes this treatment a MUST!

Who else has trouble with curling irons and straighteners?!?! For the longest time, I thought I was the only one who couldn’t curl my hair (woe is me)!!  I honestly sat in my bathroom for countless hours figuring out which way the curl should go, trying to curl without getting the “hook” and figuring out which size barrel I needed.  I felt so defeated and was so jealous of those girls, you know the ones with the thick, full voluminous waves, and I’m just sitting over here looking like Shirley Temple with enough hairspray to make it through a hurricane!  I no longer have this problem, thanks to Blown Away!  Each time I go, I get the, “Beachy Waves,” because it’s the hairstyle I’m obsessed with, but not the best at creating on myself!  My hair is in an asymmetrical bob about shoulder length, so that does limit my hair with the “traditional blow-out.”  However, I have been in the salon many times and if you have longer hair, there is nothing more flattering than the voluminous, full and shiny blow-out!
