House of Harlow 1960 Cheryl Maxi Coat | BlankNYC Ruffle Crop Jean
Happy Wednesday everyone! Whoa, how fast and crazy has this week been?!? I have been behind on blogging this week because I spent all day Monday flying to South Carolina to see the full eclipse! Who else saw the eclipse?!? It was incredible! I tried so hard to take photos of it, but it was one of those moments I will have burned in my memory forever! The moon looked like it had a blasting halo all around it and within minutes outside seemed to become quiet and dark. During this event I was reminded of just how amazing God is! He created all things on this earth and He allows us to see Him each and every day through the beauties of nature as well as the wonders like an Eclipse that He lets us experience. I would love to hear your experiences or see your photos if you took them; you can email them to me at maketodayahollyday@gmail.com 🙂
Today I am sharing a look that I personally just LOVE! I am a huge fan of luxe outerwear and a long silk trench/jacket is the perfect transitional piece from now into Fall because it is lightweight! Today’s Cheryl Maxi Coat is House of Harlow (made by Nicole Ritchie in case you haven’t heard of the brand) and it’s seriously perfection! This jacket is long, luxurious and takes ANY outfit UP a notch! This piece is a little more on the pricey side, but it very well made it is fully lined and the quality is great! I decided to pair it with an easy white tank, jeans and heels for a ‘spicey’ vibe! My jeans are my other newest OBSESSION in the jean world! Ruffle hems on sleeves and top detailing have been all the rage this year and now they are on JEANS (I’m pretty pumped!) These jeans are right Under $100 and look so EXPENSIVE because of the distressed ruffle hem! They are BLANKNYC and run true to size! Not only are they adorable, but they are equally as stretchy and COMFY!
My white tank is the Michael Lauren EJ tank and it is a super soft piece with button detailing down the front and it’s a BEST SELLER and MUST HAVE for layering! I finished off this look with my Valentino Rockstud pumps that I have never regretted purchasing! There are VERY few shoes that are worth a SPLURGE like these are, but I have worn these sooo much and they are FABULOUS! If you do decide to order, order one WHOLE SIZE UP! They are European and run small! I have also found a pretty good dupe for these and I have linked the HERE!
I hope you all enjoyed this look as much as I did styled it! What are your thoughts on silk maxi coat’s? I have linked all the pieces from today’s post below, all you have to do is click the item and it takes you to purchase! I hope you all have a fantastic HUMP DAY!
